Step aside Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon and prepare for the original mismatched duo! For over a half-century cellist Robert Lindley and bassist Domenico Dragonetti shared a stand at the Italian Theatre in London, and despite coming from disparate backgrounds, became audience favorites, political powerhouses, and ultimately great friends. Cellist Nathan Whittaker and 3 String Double Bass specialist Nathaniel Chase resurrect this unusual friendship from centuries past through Lindley’s and Dragonetti’s own compositions, as well as those by Corelli and Rossini.

This concert is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature an administered by The ARTS Coucil of the Southern Finger Lakes.
